With 15 years of experience in hosting shows ranging from bluegrass to hip hop, we've learned what it takes to create an intimate connection between artist and audience. So when we set out to redesign the space and upgrade our stage, we knew exactly what we wanted to create:
An environment that truly balances the needs of musicians and the people that love them so nothing gets in the way of both groups having an unforgettable experience.
So that's what we did. We moved and expanded the stage so that there are great sight lines from every corner of the room. It's wider, deeper, and higher (18x14x3) as well.
We upgraded to a brand new flown line array system from QSC, the KLA12, with KW181s under the stage. For those of you that aren't sound engineers, all it really means is that we'll have very consistent and clear sound, from right in front of the stage all the way to the back wall. Line arrays are designed so that the front row needn't go deaf just so people in the back can hear. We think you'll love the way it sounds.
Our course the unsung heroes of many live shows are the sound engineers who mix the show, and to make sure ours can make the most of the room and system, we installed a new Allen & Heath Qu-24. It gives us more monitor mixes (6 in fact), built in effects, and built in multi-track recording so bands can preserve their finest moments for later use.
And finally, because lighting is a big part of creating the right vibe and mood, we installed an all new lighting system (12 6-color par cans with UV and 6 moving heads to get things going).
At the end of the day, it's not about the gear, it's about the performances and moments they enable. And we're confident that our setup will create the right environment for magic to happen, night after night.
