You may have recently learned of her amazing songwriting and vocal skills in the lead off single from the recent Snarky Puppy album Family Dinner Vol. 2, I Asked.

Fluent on guitar, ukulele, and charango, Stevens’ seamless arrangements embrace inventive textures and idiosyncratic melodic elements, communicated with immense warmth and effortless urgency through her pitch-perfect and inimitable vocals.

- Downbeat
“This is a vocalist and bandleader with command to spare, a flair for making savvy, split-second decisions, pulling tricky changes out of the air, and crafting arrangements that appear simple on the surface but reveal true sophistication with each successive listen.”
- All Music Guide
